He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Layos and Evelyn I. Layos (Richendrfer); and his sister Anna Mae Layos. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Layos; his daughters, Kimberly (Jim Orzolek) of Bloomsburg and Beverly (Ray Fink) of Bloomsburg; his grandchildren, Jared Orzolek (Mariah), Josiah Orzolek (Amanda), Jalon Orzolek (Larissa), Jordan Orzolek, Mary Kate Orzolek (Nicholas Stepanik), James Orzolek, Annissa (Chad Roberts) and Kenna Fink; his great grandchildren, Caiden Orzolek, Bryce Orzolek, Alex Orzolek, Eli Orzolek, Dominic Orzolek, Bianca Orzolek and Leiana Orzolek; and his brother Donald E. Layos of Bloomsburg.
