He is survived by: his children, Karen S. (Michael Kovach) of Danville and John D. Berger, III (Marlene Butters) of Bloomsburg; his grandchildren, Alicia H. Kovach, Madison G. Kovach, Jennifer (Sean Doucette), Porsche L. Butters and John D. Berger, IV; and his sister Patricia B. Roadarmel of Bloomsburg. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
