He is survived by: his children, Edward Cooney of New York and Mackenzie Cooney of Newark, NJ; his grandchildren, Cora, Cullen Joseph, Edward Evans and Siobhan Riley; his siblings, Joseph John Cooney (Theresa) of North Middletown, NJ, Patrick John Cooney (Victoria) of Hazlet, NJ, Paul Gerard Cooney of Lake City, Joanne (Robert McMenamie) of Port St, Cynthia Ann Cruz of Manchester, NJ and Margaret Mary (Matthew McGinnis) of Port St; his close friend Shirley Kachurka; his sister Shitzus; and also Brock.
