It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Butasek (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 13, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Butasek and Mary Butasek (Stanek); his granddaughter Sara Mellen; and his sisters, Irene Muroski and Eleanor Butasek.
He is survived by: his wife Shaila Ann "Shay" Rosenfeld; his children, Janine (Eric Wendling), Tamaqua, Julie Brooks, Pittenween, Scotland, Jon Brooks, Scott Brooks (Margaret), Sag Harbor, Susan Brooks (Brian McGuire), Bala Cynwyd, Robin Brooks (John Riggleman) and Topshan; and his grandchildren, Jocelen Ruth, Ben Riggleman, Natalie Brooks, Tom Brooks, Henry Brooks, Jack Brooks, Joshua Brooks, Joey Brooks, Sophie Hogg and Sam McGuire.
