He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hunsinger and Hilda Hunsinger (Diehl); and his half-brother James Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Sara V. Konrad (Smith); his children, James Hunsinger (Janet), John Hunsinger, Jr., Justin Hunsinger (Erie), Michael Hunsinger and Sarah Boyer (Ethan); his stepchildren, Amanda Dawson and Samuel Konrad; and his siblings, Connie Knauer (William), Cindy Hunsinger, Mainville and Larry Hunsinger (Gail). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 stepgrandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic restrictions, services will be held at the convenience of the family.
