She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer E. Yorty and Alice Yorty (Dyer); and her brothers, Norman E. Yorty and Leonard Yorty. She is survived by: her husband Dale H. Sneidman; her children, NanciJo Kistler, Todd H. Sneidman (Michelle) and Michael H. Sneidman (Tina); her grandchildren, Joshua J. Knorr (Sharleen), Justin J. Knorr (Starla), Dakota Kistler (Jamie), Trenton Sneidman (Lauren), Taylor Sneidman, Derek Sneidman (Kirsten) and Bryce Sneidman; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Madelyn and Kinsley; and her brother Frank Yorty (Merrilie) of Bloomsburg.

Joanne was a member of the Bloomsburg Civic Club and also had been involved with the Blooming Follies as chairperson of the donations committee.
