He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Carl and Helen Carl (Hampton); his wife Sarah M. Weaver; and his brothers, Warren Carl, Lewis Carl, Jr., Tharon Carl and Ambrose Carl (Clyde).
He is survived by: his sons, Danny Lee Carl (Holly), Jimmy Lee Carl, Jr., Bloomsbsurg and Jerry A. "Sam" Carl; and his brother Freeman Caarl (Eleanor). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
