She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred B. Hess and Helen C. Hess (Keller); her husband Francis D. Derr; and her son-in-law Robert E. "Bob" Sponenberg. She is survived by: her daughter Francie Lue Sponenberg of Bloomsburg; her grandsons, Eric Sponenberg and Brett Sponenberg of Bloomsburg; her great grandchildren, Erica, Mandy Jo and Sutton Sponenberg; and her sister Joanne E. Hess of Bloomsburg.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
