He is survived by: his spouse Ruth A Spear (Lusher); his children, Michael Spear (Valerie, Reading), Elaine Spear of Lake Worth, FL, James Spear (Donna, Milton) and Rick Spear of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Erin, Jessica, Matthew, Rachael and Julia; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Nolan and Theo; and his brother William Spear (Mary, Drums). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
