Gregory L. Basilotto Sr. Obituary
Gregory L. Basilotto Sr. age 68, of Bloomsburg, PA passed away on April 18, 2023, while surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Hackensack, NJ, grew up in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, before moving to West Keansburg, NJ. He is a graduate of Raritan High School, Hazlet, NJ. He then lived in Howell, NJ before spending many years in Brick, NJ where he raised his family. He then moved to Arizona where he resided for 20 years and most recently to Pennsylvania to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, landscaping, painting, baking, fishing, hunting, genealogy, going to the movies, riding on his tractor and so much more. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cecelia Truax Basilotto; his children Gregory Basilotto, Michelle Olsen, and Michael Basilotto; his grandchildren, Gregory, Trinity, Maria, Stephen, and Lincoln; two great grandchildren; four brothers, Wayne Basilotto, Ronnie Basilotto, Paul Basilotto and Brandon Basilotto; he also leaves behind a large extended family and many friends all of whom will greatly miss him. A viewing will be held for Greg on April 24, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Hwy 88 Brick, NJ 08724. A funeral home service will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 25th, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo, NJ.
