He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank M. DePoe and Bernice V. DePoe (Houseweart); his wife Rose Marie Fogle; and his siblings, Lillian Barnes, May Estock, Grace Young, Ruth Martinez, Jay R. DePoe, Claude DePoe, Joe S. DePoe, Ray W. DePoe, Roy S. DePoe and Fred DePoe.
He is survived by: his sons, George Wesley DePoe, Jr. (Carol) of Bloomsburg, Frank T. DePoe (Lori) of Northumberland and Martin L. DePoe (Allisa) of Bloomsburg; his grandchildren, Wesley Alan DePoe (Jill) of Berwick, Stacy R. Fisher of Bloomsburg, Scott A. DePoe (Tiffany) of Orangeville, Christopher DePoe (Michelle) of Stillwater and Courtney (Marshall Williams) of Kingsland, GA; and his sister Lena Tunaitis of Stillwater. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
