Berger, III; his wife Katie of Bloomsburg; his grandchildren, Marcus Chapin, Gage Berger, Zacary Berger, Zoey Berger, Gavin Berger, Liam Berger and Maryn Berger; and his siblings, Patricia Roadarmel and John D. Berger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
