It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary E. Bankert (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 5, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Herman Harry Bankert. He is survived by: his parent Almena Ruth Bankert (Riley); his wife Judith A. "Judy" Bankert (Rimel); his sons, Todd E. Bankert (Wanda) of Hanover and Scott D. Bankert (Diane) of Bloomsburg; his grandchildren, Kayla Hicks (Shane) of New Oxford and Nicholas Bankert of Hanover; his stepgrandchildren, Giovanna Alvarez of Ecuador and Hunter Pontier of Riverdale, NJ; his great grandchild Kane Hicks; and his sister Nadine Fuhrman of Hanover.
