She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Shaffer and Ida Shaffer (Tronseau); and her husband Harold J. Matyas. She is survived by: her children, Delores M. Dippel of Bloomsburg, Bonnie J. (Dan Dieffenbacher) of Billings, MT and Kenneth H. Matyas (Colleen) of Bloomsburg; her grandchildren, Jamison R. Dippel (Koral), Abigail B. Dieffenbacher, Clay D. Dieffenbacher, Eric H. Dieffenbacher and Melissa S. (Brandon Faux); her great grandchildren, Paisley Faux, Remi Faux and Hunter Faux; and her pet Miss Kitty. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and her beloved pet.
