With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane E. Shuman (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Shuman and Jennie Shuman (McMichael); his sisters, Marilyn S. Broadt and Judy Boody; and his brother-in-law Bill Boody.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Shuman (Burd); his children, Sandra Jean Tobey (Robert) of Mifflinville, Richard D. Shuman (Debra) of Mainville and Sherry Jean Minnig (Michael) of Bloomsburg; his grandchildren, Tyler J. Breach, Steven Shuman (Nadine Sharr), Courtney Shuman, Megan Minnig, Molly Minnig and Miller Minnig; his siblings, Janet Kelchner (Don) of Orangeville and Thomas Shuman (Sue) of Mainville; and his brother-in-law Roger C. Broadt of Mainville.
