He is survived by: his wife Cynthia M. George; his children, Jared P. George (Jessica) of Bloomsburg and Megan D. Zimmerman (Nevin) of Danville; his grandchildren, Kennedy M. George, Emily G. Zimmerman, Troy L. Zimmerman, Liam R. George and Leah R. Zimmerman; his sister Audrey Bartlow (Charles) of Binghamton, NY; his siblings-in-law, Raymond "Smokey" Dunkle of Catawissa, Karen Krum (Gary) of Catawissa and Rebecca Fedder (Rodney) of Bloomsburg; and his pets, Layla (Boston Terrier) and Cubby (Miniature Poodle). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
