He is survived by: his wife Bernice Kocher; his children, Laurie (Michael G. Wallace) of Bloomsburg and Jay "JP" Thomas (Sheree) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Megan Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Michael J. Wallace (Sarah) and Juliann (Herbert Shannon); his great grandchildren, Finley Shannon, Baylor Shannon and Jack Shannon; his sister Helen Ann (Dale M. Davis) of Bloomsburg; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Thomas of Lancaster, Charlotte Thomas of Bloomsburg and Carl Stauffer of Bloomsburg. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
