He is survived by: his wife Bernice Kocher; his children, Laurie (Michael G. Wallace) of Bloomsburg and Jay "JP" Thomas (Sheree) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Megan Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Michael J. Wallace (Sarah) and Juliann (Herbert Shannon); his great grandchildren, Finley Shannon, Baylor Shannon and Jack Shannon; his sister Helen Ann (Dale M. Davis) of Bloomsburg; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Thomas of Lancaster, Charlotte Thomas of Bloomsburg and Carl Stauffer of Bloomsburg. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Viewing was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Bible Church (123 Church St, Bloomsburg, PA 17815).
