He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Snyder and Alma Snyder (Rarig); his wife Ruth D. Pursel; and his siblings, Earl Snyder, Donald Snyder and Lorene Fisher.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis C. Snyder (Melissa) of Millville, Sharon R. Kehoe (William) of Millville and Scott E. Snyder (Andrina) of Catawissa; his grandchildren, Heather Vance (John) of Orangeville, Dana Banta (Curtis) of Oak Harbor, WA, Hope Snyder-Moore (Donnie) of Millville, Bruce Snyder (Alyssa) of Catawissa, Gregory Kehoe (Skylar) of Berwick, Jason Kehoe (Brooke) of Bloomsburg and Courtney Snyder-Kehoe (Kevin) of Ridgeville, SC; and his sister Janice Kitchen of Danville. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
