She was predeceased by: her parents, John Yost and Marion "Miney" Yost (Unger); her husband Vincent Karas of Shenandoah; her son Phillip Karas; her daughter-in-law Janelle Karas; and her sister Marjorie.
She is survived by: her sons, Marshall "Mitch" Karas (Michele) of Orangeville and Tim Karas (Michelle "Shelley") of Bloomsburg; her grandchildren, Logan Karas (Jamie) of Sunbury, Klae (Doug Hunter) of Benton, Thea Karas of Orangeville, Emily (Brian Zysset) of Catawissa and Morgan Karas of Orangeville; and her great grandchildren, Raye Karas, Rhome Karas and Corrine Zysset.
