He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rita Derr (Betz) and David K. Derr; his grandparents, Susie Betz, Wallace and Eleanor Derr; his stepgrandmother Joan Derr; his grandfather John Betz of Williamsport; and his siblings, Kristen (Thomas Knight) of Muncy, Karey (Michael Killian) of Millville and Roger Derr (Kimberly) of Jerseytown. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Christian Gospel Fellowship (2938 PA-42, Millville, PA 17846). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Iola Christian Gospel Fellowship Church (2938 PA-42, Millville, PA 17846). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at the Jerseytown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Animal Resource Center, P.O. Box 439, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
