It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Rupert (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Beaver, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 14, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Harry Smoyer; her husband William C. Rupert; her son Gary G. "Trapper" Rupert; and her siblings, Marie Formolo, Donald Smoyer and Leonard Smoyer.
She is survived by: her parent Verdie Smoyer (Johnson); her daughter Charlene; her granddaughters, Anna K. Hoff, Rachel Slack and West Springfield; and also Emmaus.
