We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2020, at the age of 90, Betty Jean (McCarty) Hoffman of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, born in New Albany, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair McCarty and Elizabeth McCarty (Spence); her husband Zane E. Hoffman; her great grandchild Karie Jackson; her siblings, June Laudig, James McCarty, Bruce McCarty and Dale McCarty; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Swingle, William Armes, Arnold Flook, Pamela McCarty, Shirley McCarty, Scarlett McCarty and Bernice Flook.

She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle (Peter Koban) of Mifflinville, Kathleen Hoffman of Atlanta, GA, Bernice (Kevin Vought) of Arden, NC and Stacey (Billy Putnam) of Candler, NC; her grandchildren, Brooke (Adam Jackson), Ryan Vought, Joshua Vought, Trevor Putnam, Adam Putnam, Samantha Putnam and Trent Putnam; her great grandchild Austin Sluder; her siblings, Kathryn Swingle of Bonita Springs, FL, Robert McCarty (Marcille) of Mehoopany, PA and Barbara (Kenneth Marshall) of Barbours, PA; and her friend Linda Armes.
