Cortes; and his children, Hector Luis Valentin Cortes of Puerto Rico, Betzaida Valentin Cortes of Bloomsburg, Juan Carlos Valentin Cortes of Bloomsburg and Alberto Valentin Cortes of Bloomsburg. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and eleven siblings.
