With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Schell O'Friel (Blawnox, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 7, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lois M. O'Friel (Boland); his parents, George O'Friel and Lillian O'Friel (Schell); and his siblings, Mary Alice Curry, Lillian Gardener, Zita Milliron, Sr., Cornelia O'Friel, Charlotte Bettwy, Edward O'Friel and Daniel O'Friel.

He is survived by: his sister Clementine O'Friel; his daughters, Mary Jeffrey (Guy), Cathy O'Friel, Ann Campbell (John), Tina Smith (Bob), Virginia Donahoe (Dan), Theresa Curran (Robert) and Lois Goss (Dan); his grandchildren, George Jeffrey (Sarah), Carlin Campbell (Kristi), Amanda Caliendo (Bub), Rachael Paholich (Bill), Erin Donahoe, Lauren Donahoe, Shannon Donahoe, Kristen Donahoe and Alex Goss; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Jack, Reed Campbell, Christian, Luke Caliendo, Eloise, Charlotte Paholich and Tyler Jeffrey.

“June 7th was a wonderful day, the best day of his life for Uncle George. He lived his life for that day, to go be with Aunt Lois and God. The O'Friel siblings taught all of their children the Catholic faith by the way they lived their lives. I am blessed to be able to come celebrate his Mass.
