He was predeceased by: his brother James; and his parents, Charles William, Sr. and Adeline McCombs (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Virginia E. McCombs (Prezel); his sons, Doug (Tanya) and Todd McCombs (Pamela); his grandchildren, Hunter, Amanda, Amber and Jamie; his brother Kenneth (Marlene); and his brothers-in-law, Tom (Linda) and Jim Prezel (Jean). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
