He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan D. Blatt and Leah Blatt (Behney); and his siblings, Mabel, Darius, Florence, John, Minerva, Lucy and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Fick); his children, Lori A. Brenner (Donald Brenner, Jr.) and Michael E. Blatt (Jodi Blatt); his grandsons, Christopher Brenner, Jeremy Brenner, Steven Brenner and Evan Blatt; his great grandchildren, Elliette, Lenora, Cassidy Yeager-Brenner and Jack Brenner; his siblings, Samuel Blatt and Helen Wenrich; and his pet Turbo. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
