He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen F. Pier and Mary Edna Pier (Mansfield); his brother Wendell Pier; and his brother-in-law Dale Garman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Spanik; his sons, Stephen F. Pier, III (Barbara) of Phoenix, AZ., Michael J. Pier of Altoona, Joseph J. Pier (Lisa) of Altoona and Kevin R. Pier of Tipton; his grandsons, Robert Pier (Leanna) and Zachary Pier; his great grandchildren, Gracie, Abbie and Lucas Pier; and his sister Mary Edna Garman of Warren, OH.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
