He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Carter and Emily Carter (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Carter (Hess); his children, Justin Carter (Dawn) of Pocono Lake, Brandon Carter of Williamsport and Caitin Carter of Lock Haven; his stepchildren, Michael Cole (Kristy) of Nazareth and Lori Hitchens (Rob) of Bath; his pet Chloe; and his sisters-in-law, Lou Ann Parillo (Nicholas) of Allentown and Phyllis Jones of East Bangor. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (1426 US-209, Gilbert, PA 18331). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Buena Vista Cemetery (1915 US-209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322).
