It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Volo of Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Volo and Maria Volo (D'Ottavio); and his sisters, Debra Camputaro and Denise Todaro. He is survived by: his wife Christine Volo (Calcagno) of Blakeslee, PA.; his children, Maria Ortiz (David) of Summerville, SC, Pietrina Gates (Ken) of Grindstone, PA and Nicholas S. Volo (Naomi) of Blandon, PA.; his grandchildren, Julia Hardy, Nico Ortiz, Christian Ortiz, Erik Gates, Dominic Volo, Luca Volo and Sophia Volo; and his brother Alfonso Volo (Linda) of Vero Beach, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
