He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey "J. J." (Tricia Thomas) of Eynon and Lori (John Kelley) of Peckville; his grandchildren, Quinn Elizabeth Kelley, Connor John Kelley and Etta Elizabeth Thomas; and his niece Rebekah Jarus.
