It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Matthew Tallo (Blakely, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Tallo and Angela Briganti Tallo; his brother Leonard Tallo; and his son-in-law Mario Zeolla. He is survived by : his daughters, Jennifer Marshall (Robert Jr.) of Willow Grove, PA and Christine Zeolla (Adam Toteno) of Albany, NY; his grandchildren, Emily, Natalie Marshall, Michael and Ava Zeolla; and his sister Frances Franko (Raymond) of Falls, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Diabetes Association can be made in his memory.

“Dearest Franny, Jennifer, and Chrissy, We were heartbroken to hear of Johnny’s passing. We would have been there if we’d known. We have the warmest memories of time spent with him and Andrea at your home and when you stayed with us.. Fred talks about growing up, playing with him often,. He would come to Fred’s house most mornings before school and they’d color at the kitchen table! We always considered him a dear friend. He will be lovingly missed. Much love, Fred and Sue Fitch”
