He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hainaut and Gwendolyn Hainaut (McManus); and his siblings, Richard, Gary and Gwendolyn Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. Hainaut (Coup); his children, Carolyn G. Hainaut of Blairsville and Thomas W. Hainaut (Lisa) of Blairsville; his grandsons, Patrick McKinney and Brandon McKinney; and his great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Elijah and Isabel McKinney.
