He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Shipley and Ruth Buzard Shipley; his former wife Lois Ellen Barnhart Shipley; his daughter Linda Sue; and his siblings, Wayne Shipley, Evelyn Shoop, Barbara Shipley and Catherine Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Jean"; his sons, James Evans (Betty) of Clark, PA and Dwayne Shipley (Laurie) of Oklahoma City, OK; his grandchildren, Jeremy Shipley, Kacie Ryan (Hunter), Sarah D'Angelo (Vincent), Becky Pigza (John) and Jenny Patterson (Ryan); and his sister Betty McTish. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
