He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Shean and Dora Shean (Switzer); his sons, Brian Shean, Sr. and Roby Shean; and his siblings, Mickey Shean and Connie Stickle.
He is survived by: his pet Butters; his wife Camilla Shean (McGarvey) of Blairsville, PA; his children, Terry James Shean, Jr. (Trudy) of Nanty Glo, PA, Lorie J. Shean and James D. Shean (Jen) of Hillside, PA; his grandchildren, Shawn, Damein, Damien, Logan, Brian, Marisa, Aiden and Alyssa; and his great grandchildren, Kira and Fiona. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews & nieces.
