PIZER, ROBERT LEE, 71 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA
passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA. He was born July 17, 1949 in Latrobe, PA, the son of the late Thomas Pizer and Patricia (Teklinsky) Pizer. Bob had attended Saltsburg High School and grew up in Moween. He had worked in Tunnelton Mines, operated Pizer's Garage in Black Lick and most recently worked at Chestnut Ridge Golf Course. He enjoyed working with his hands and could fix about anything. Bob made friends easily and enjoyed being with them. He also enjoyed fishing at Thousand Islands, NY. He most recently enjoyed restoring a 1969 Volkswagen Beetle. Surviving is his wife of 35 years, Brenda (McConnell) Pizer, Blairsville, PA; son, Robert Pizer, Jr. & wife, Tammy, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Rebecca Pizer, Callery, PA; daughter, Emily Pizer & fiancé, Vincent DeSantis, Blairsville, PA; son, Brandon Pizer, Blairsville, PA; step-son, Kerry Kelly & wife, Michelle, Chesterfield, VA; step-son, Gerald Kelly & wife, Jodi, Blairsville, PA; grandchildren: Kaylee Tomachek, Kristina Pizer, Allison McKivigan, Cory & Caresse Kelly, Ashley Kelly & Brea Kelly, Tiffany & Georgia Kelly and Billy Calvin Fridley; numerous Great Grandchildren, brothers, Herb Pizer & wife, Judy and David Pizer & wife, Carol, both of Saltsburg and sister, Martha Radicoaj & husband, George, Greensburg and special brother in-law Wilbur Stone & wife, Marlene, Black Lick and also numerous Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Heidi A. Kelly on 10-31-2020; sister, Viola Joyce Porter and brother, Thomas Pizer. Friends will be received at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A private funeral service will be held at 2PM with Pastor Jack Lucas officiating. Services will be live streamed on our website. See his obituary for the link at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held in the Germany Lutheran Cemetery, New Florence, PA. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, you may incur a wait in the Funeral Home. Masks are required in the funeral home.
