He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Peterson and Theresa Peterson (Lovell); his wife Jane E. Peterson (Foster); and his siblings, Florence McClain, Edward, Jack and Victor Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, William L. Peterson (Vali) of Grove City, PA, Kathy Irene Griffith (Thomas) of Bolivar, PA, Richard L. Peterson, Jr. (Patricia) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Barbara J. Detwiler and Michael A; and his siblings, Helen R. McClaren of Torrance, PA and James L. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren & 15 Great Grandchildren.
