He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Barnhart; and his brother Robert Barnhart. He is survived by: his wife Dolores T. Barnhart (Sobota); his children, Shawn Barnhart (Celesta), Erik Barnhart and Tara Hays; his granddaughters, Brianna Cox (Josh), Hannah Rocco (David), Reilly Barnhart and Hayley Barnhart; his great grandchildren, Easton, Ethan and Rhett; his brother Ronald Barnhart; his aunt Dorothy Sharp; and his uncle Donnie Barnhart. He is also survived by friends and trucking brothers.
