He is survived by: his wife Diane L. Bruner (McGarry); his daughter Melanie L. Reeger (David) of Blairsville; his siblings, Clark Bruner of Blairsville, Tom Bruner (Marilyn) of Blairsville and Virginia Zona of Clarksburg; his sisters-in-law, Rebekah Bruner of Blairsville, Joyce Bruner of Clarksburg and Bonnie Greene (Ted) of Belsano; and his nephews, Thomas Bruner, Jr. (Bob Bruner) of Longwood, FL and Paul Henry (Ken Clark).
