It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine E Hixson of Blairsville, Pennsylvania, born in Fairfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart McCauley and Emma Elda McCauley (Hofecker); her husband Jack Hixson; her son Robert J. Jackson; and her siblings, Lawrence McCauley, Mary Czajkowski, Gladys Irwin, Homer McCauley, John McCauley and Betty Henry.
She is survived by: her sister Grace Stephens. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
