He was predeceased by: his parents, George Matthews and Margaret Elizabeth Towsey (Snyder); and his wife Judy Towsey. He is survived by: his children, David Towsey (Jennifer) and Dana Towsey (Stew Ellington); and his grandchildren, Brian, Elizabeth Towsey and Felix Ellington.
