It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Lloyd (Blairsville, Pennsylvania), born in Derry, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 2, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Turk and Virginia Turk (Beason); her husband Gilbert V. "Rocky" Lloyd; her siblings, Mary Skoloda, Virginia Falk, Anne Reed, Rose Gennaro, Carolyn M. Paola, John Beason and Joseph Beason; and her grandsons, Thad Michael Lloyd and Brett Alan Lloyd.

She is survived by: her children, Douglas E. Lloyd (Renee) of Latrobe, Laura L. Lloyd-Kister (Barry) of Somerset, David A. Lloyd (Brenda) of Latrobe and Deneene Krehlik (Ryan) of Blairsville; her grandchildren, Joshua, Eric, Michael, Katelyn and Kyle; her great grandchildren, Emily, Samantha, Taylor and Penelope; and her sister-in-law Jean Beason of Derry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

“Doug, renee, dave, laura, and deneene, so sorry to hear about mom's passing. She was an original straight shooter and will be sorely missed. She and gib were always so kind to david, billy woods, and me and opened up your home to us. Doug our days growing up in seger have remained with me my entire life. While the school district deemed seger as a depressed area - i always thought we had more than our fair share of life's "real riches". Love to all of you and god bless! Gary hantz”
