It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Kalen (Blairsville, Pennsylvania), born in Black Lick, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 23, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Lorenzik and Katherine Lorenzik (Krivonick); her husband Michael Kalen; and her siblings, Johnny, Mike Lorenzik, Mary Clawson, Ann Onufer, Margaret Lagoda and Catherine Bondra.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Wilhelms (Richard) of Macedonia, OH and Sandra Libengood (Ron) of Pittsburgh, PA; her grandchildren, Cheryl Blackwell (Frank), Melissa Baker (Kyle), Debbie Wilhelms, Lannette Reese (Bob) and Linda Sarver (Chuck); and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Amanda, Austin, Braden, Jordan, Evan, Matthew, Kalynn, Julia and Dylan.
Due to the health concerns of COVID-19, services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
