He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bertoncini and Ernesta Bertoncini (Descrimi); his wife Betty J. Bertoncini (Kish); his siblings, Vilma McGill, Emma Esposito, Lena Trausi, Irene Steves, Lenore Farley, Lillian Silvestri, Eugene "Algie" and Wilbert "Wibby" Bertoncini; and his son-in-law Joe Nickerson.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Joy Bertoncini of Pittsburgh, PA, Jamie Penich (Ronald) of Greensburg, PA, Michael Bertoncini (Mary Jo) of Blairsville, PA and Leann Thelin (William); his grandchildren, Jessie Penich and Katrina Montgomery (Jake); his great grandchild Hailey Montgomery; his stepgrandchildren, Nell and Zoey Hartley; and his brother Thomas Bertoncini (Deanna) of Blairsville, PA. He is also survived by many Nieces & Nephews.
