It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Louise Kirkland of Blairsville, Pennsylvania, born in Derry, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Hughes and Helen I. Hughes (Hunter); her husband Paul S. Kirkland; and her half-siblings, Glenn, Jack Kirkland and Sara Kirkland.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Daniel Kirkland of Blairsville, Mark Kirkland (Brenda) of Blairsville, Jim Kirkland of Blairsville, Joe Kirkland of Blairsville and Bonnie Herdman (Bob) of Blairsville; and her half-brother Bill Kirkland (Sandy) of Blairsville. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
Interment will be in Livermore Cemetery, Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) Due to the reimplemented government regulations concerning COVID 19, only 50 people are permitted in the funeral home at one time.
