It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Ann Shaffer (Blairsville, Pennsylvania), born in Derry, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 5, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicola Ziruolo and Angeline Ziruolo (Cappo); her husband Wilson Paul Shaffer; and her siblings, Margaret Ziruolo and Edward Ziruolo (Popeye).
She is survived by: her sister Delores Coffman; her nieces and nephews, Chanda Schmidt, Kim Griffith, Margaret Crocker, Jeff Coffman and Ronald Ziruolo; her great-niece Maryn Dempsey; and her great-nephew Jacob Dempsey.
