He is survived by: his wife Joan C. Payne (Boring); his children, Boyd Payne, Jr., Eric Mitchell, Patricia Silk, Thomas, Gregory J. Payne and Wendy S. Myers; his grandchildren, Micheal Payne, Casey Payne, Samantha Krall and Matthew Krall; his great grandchild Amira Dewalt; and his brother Samuel Payne.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Boyd's name may be made to the Germany United Methodist Church youth Ark Encounter Trip fund.
