We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2021, at the age of 94, Barbara M. Bearer of Blairsville, Pennsylvania, born in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Griffith Bloom and Vernita Bloom (Sharbaugh); her husband Martin L. Bearer; her siblings, Jimmy Bloom, Francis "Bud" Bloom, Doris Ribson and Margaret E. "Madge" Sherry; her grandson John Shaw, Jr.; and her son-in-law John "Jack" Shaw.
She is survived by: her daughter Virginia L. Shaw; her grandsons, Travis Shaw (Beth), Tyler Shaw (Sarah) and Trevor Shaw (Cassandra); her great grandchildren, Isabella, Lexus, Carter, Lyndsay and Liam; her siblings, Jerry Bloom (Annie), Sally Bearer of Carrolltown, Jane Young of St. Augustine, FL and Ann; her sister-in-law Janet Bloom of Loretto; and her niece Nancy Bloom. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
Masks and face coverings will be required and social distancing encouraged upon entry to the funeral home as per CDC guidelines.
