He was predeceased by: his parent Wilbur Cauffman; and his spouse Vera Mae Cauffman (Wilt). He is survived by: his parent Mable Cauffman (Brookhart); his children, JoAnn Bair (Ken) of Landisburg, Brian Cauffman and Dennis Cauffman of Blain; and his siblings, Lorretta Breon of Colonial Park, Robert Cauffman, Gene Cauffman and Mary Gothel. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
