She was predeceased by: her father Norman R. Wilhem; and her daughter Elizabeth Ann Sowers. She is survived by: her husband Steven P. Sowers; her mother Joan C. Wilhelm (Hurd); her children, Matthew Sowers of Gladstone, NJ and Megan Sowers; and her sister Tracy Harrell of Ashland, VA. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
