He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Milton Kaufman and Betty Kaufman (Schlenker); his close friend Faye Schadt; his children, Jennifer Wilk and Richard H. Kaufman, Jr.; and his siblings, Barbara Kaufman, Donna Martin, Karen Humphrey and David Kaufman. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Greater Reading Encore Chorale.
